Plantsville Dentist Receives AGD Mastership Award
San Francisco, California---The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Neil Salesky, DMD, MAGD, of Burlington CT., received the association’s Mastership Award during the AGD 2015 annual meeting, which took place June 18th to 21st in San Francisco.
The Mastership Award is the AGD’s highest honor and one of the most respected designations within the profession. To earn this award, Dr. Salesky completed 1,100 hours of dental continuing education.
As a Mastership Award recipient, Dr. Salesky joins more than 2,200 active AGD Masters who have gone above and beyond the basic requirements to care for their patients’ oral health. This is a continuing education degree in which less than one percent of general dentists have achieved.
“This award requires an extraordinary amount of time and effort, “says AGD Immediate Past President W. Carter Brown, DMD, FAGD. “Dr. Salesky should be commended for his unflagging commitment to continuing education, which allows him to provide the best possible dental care and oral health education to his patients.”
Dr. Salesky graduated from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and is the current owner of Southington Dentistry in Plantsville, CT. He is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, Spear Study Club, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Fellow in The International Congress of Oral Implantology and The Connecticut State Dental Society, having received awards from these societies for his proficiency in dentistry.
He and his wife Sharon have three wonderful daughters and are the proud owners of adopted greyhounds. He also has many hobbies and interests including metal sculpting, canine rescue, running, racquetball and biking.
